hah, an inquiring anonymous, i shall do my best.

at first glance, i would say that panel describes core and undispensable storytelling devices for the comic or webcomic genre. if you took those out you'd be left with panoramic paintings frozen in time and in motion. that's sort of like replacing a slide-show with a fresco painting gallery. ergo, that strip accuses comics of being 2 dimensional, which they are, and then it insists for subjective reasons that that's not ok somehow.

that's what i get from it.
